So much to do all of a sudden, where should I start?  It can be a difficult, overwhelming time.  Unfortunately, there are some key financial issues that need to be taken care of along with making funeral plans.

Probate doesn’t have to be difficult, (misconceptions of the probate process!)

If someone dies without a Will the state will get all the assets, not true!  Although it is good to write a Will, but many people die without a Will, it is called intestate.  The heirs, the next of kin, would be able to probate and/or assume your assets.  The state generally doesn’t get the money, as long as there is someone in line, they will inherit.  Although rules vary from state to state, generally this is the case.

Answer is YES!  We are not partnered with any of these online companies.  However, we have had experiences in helping probate Wills successfully that were made by an online company.   In fact, we have been involved in the probate of Wills that are written by legal professionals and online companies and we have seen fewer problems with the ones people create themselves online!
