Why should we care about Estates?

Courts, paperwork, deadlines sounds like something a person should avoid right?  Probating an Estate can be costly, slow and sometimes take up to 9 months to be completed.  However, it doesn’t have to be that hard. Probate is necessary to transfer property of the decedent, distribute beneficiaries, and finalize the deceased person affairs.

Did you know if you are named as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy or retirement accounts, they aren’t subject to probate? The determination of whether or not a probate is required depends on the decedent’s assets.  In our Mosaic Path, we can guide you through your probate items, also help you with those complex papers, and deadlines. Allowing you to care about your loved one’s Estate.
